I am writing this message to you Ryan because I know in my heart that you are still here. You read the messages that are written about you and you reflect on the life you lived here on this earth. I want you to know that I will not rest until I've completed my Paramedic program at KCKCC and it's because of you that I am here and I thank you. I look forward to the day when I can honestly say that I made it. My expected graduation date is May of 09 and you are invited. Sometimes I just cry as I sit and think of our shifts together and how much of a joy it was to be your EMT partner. You were an awesome medic, and a wonderful friend. I will not quit, this I promise you. You give me strength when I find class periods are sometimes difficult but I've made it to my clinical rotations and the heat is on.

His cousin, Jeremy Kildare, just lost his dad, and I saw Ryan's name as a one who had preceeded Tim Kildare in death. I'm in shock. I met Ryan when he was in Hastings. Ryan was to be part of my escort team to the airport. Due to the weather I got stuck there for several days. Ryan was great. I had already turned in my rental car so he took me around, showed me the sights, and took good care of me. He was wonderful! He did n't have to do all those great things but he did! Once I returned to the chicago area, Ryan and I kept in touch for a while. I'm saddened to hear of his horrible accident. Your son was one of the GOOD GUYS!
